Our Toothbrush Inspection System automates the inspection process, eliminating manual inspection errors. By automating this process, the system eradicates the errors associated with manual packing and inspection methods. Operating at an impressive rate of 45 parts per minute, it ensures swift and accurate scrutiny of toothbrush packs with unmatched efficiency.
Here’s how it works: The operator loads the packs onto the conveyor, initiating the inspection process. As each pack advances, the system’s high-resolution cameras capture images from top and bottom views, providing comprehensive coverage for analysis.
These images are then processed using custom image processing algorithms, specially designed to discern between acceptable (OK) and defective (Not OK) parts. Any identified defects trigger the system to redirect the flawed packs to a designated rejection bin. Meanwhile, the accepted parts seamlessly proceed to the end of the line, accumulating in a designated good bin.
In existing vision systems, customers were unable to detect the brush colours over the reflecting packs. Whereas our customised software algorithms not only detect the brush colours but also ensure 34+ colour sequencing across various models.
